Meet the Team

Meet the dedicated team at Four Paws Veterinary Clinic - a passionate group of veterinary professionals committed to providing top-quality care for your beloved pets.

Dr Lesley Herd BVMS MRCVS CCRP

Practice Owner & Veterinary Surgeon

Lesley has always wanted to be a vet from a very young age. After graduating from Glasgow Vet School, she spent years working in both first opinion and emergency veterinary practices. She also undertook a post graduate qualification from University of Tennessee in Veterinary Rehabilitation and she currently runs Pet Therapy Veterinary Rehabilitation Clinic.

With over thirty years experience as a veterinary surgeon and over twenty years experience in Veterinary Rehabilitation, she has decided to open Four Paws Veterinary Clinic to combine her passion for both conventional and complementary veterinary care and to allow a holistic approach to provide the best care for your pet.

Lesley loves all aspects of veterinary care from intricate surgery to more complex medical cases. When not working she likes to spend time with her beloved Labradors.

Jillian is our other veterinary surgeon working alongside Lesley.  She qualified in 1996 from Glasgow Vet School having achieved her childhood dream of being a vet.  She has worked in a range of practices throughout the UK but has now settled back home in the West of Scotland with her two sons, three cats, two border collies and a labrador puppy - so life is never quiet!

She is passionate about all aspects of being a vet but particularly enjoys consulting and meeting your four-legged family members.
